(Japanese: ホワイト White) is the female player character in Pokémon Black and White. She is the female counterpart to Black.

While no official sources have identified the female protagonist as "White," promotional videos and prerelease images have identified her male counterpart as "Black." "White" is the name for her that is generally accepted among fans, as well.

Pokemon Black and White

If chosen as the player, White will receive a starter Pokémon from Professor Araragi as a gift, as will White's two childhood friends, Cheren and Bel. She will also receive a Pokédex from the professor. After setting off on her Pokémon journey at the same time as Cheren and Bel, White will at some point be asked by Makomo to do some sort of quest; in return for its completion, White will receive a C-Gear.

As well as encountering and battling her childhood friends at various points during her journey, White will also meet a man known as N, who wishes to create separate worlds for humans and Pokémon. In order to achieve his goals, he and White will battle several times during the course of the game.

Pokemon Crimson crisis

White will appear in the new Pokemon crimson crisis and she will be traveling with Andre through the Isshu region. White also has affection for her new travelling companion.
